Dream Garage Makeover in Lake St. Louis
Challenge
This customer was looking to completely renovate their 3 car garage however wasn't sure what they needed or where to start. In addition, one of the customers being an avid golfer, wanted to ensure there was room for his new golf simulator. In discussing the Hello Garage product offerings, they decided they wanted to complete flooring, storage items, and maintain space to ensure all cars could be parked inside. Due to this, we had to find a way to transfer all existing storage items, maintain space against the walls for the cars, and leave room for additional family items such as a deep freezer, refrigerator, and simulator.
Solution
We met with the customer multiple times, created 3D renderings of the wall space, and utilized our footprint measurements to create a completely personalized project. After finalizing the products they wished to proceed with, we conducted a storage walk-through and mapped out exactly where each item would be placed for ease of use and functionality purposes. By creating the rendering, we accounted for their personal items as well as unforeseen areas such as wall outlets, power supplies, and more.
Our team installed two sets of shelving units side by side to provide organization for larger tubs and items that were not needed throughout the customers everyday life. We added a shallow 13" depth cabinet to account for any items they did not want out or seen however the depth allowed them to move freely in and out of the garage as well as park comfortably againt the wall. Lastly, we added slat-wall across multiple areas to provide a sleek way to hang, organize, and store items such as shovels, rakes, golf bags, lawn chairs and more. Through the organizational optimization of the slatwall, we were able to give back space on one entire side of the garage for the customers simulator. To top everything off, we coated the floors in our Classic Pewter Polyaspartic coating for a clean, modern, and professional look.
